(Lessons are at the same time and on the same day each week, but can be changed if sports or other schedules require you to move spots!)
Greater Lansing's First Choice
We provide music lessons at two locations: Okemos Music Academy and Berkley Music Academy. For 25 years, we have served Okemos residents, currently teaching over 450 students from ages 5 to adult. We’re excited and honored to start reaching students in the Metro Detroit area with our newly established academy in Berkley.
Both locations offer lessons in Piano, Guitar, Voice, Ukulele, Bass, Drums, Violin, and more, and are staffed with qualified teachers dedicated to your success.

We are the only music academies in the Greater Lansing Area that offer music lessons seven days a week from the morning to late at night to accommodate your busy schedule.
Monday – Thursday: 1:00pm-8:30pm
Friday: 12:30pm-7:00pm
Saturday: 9:00am-3:00pm
Sunday: 12:00pm-5:00pm

This saves our students time and money, as one family can take multiple instruments on the same day. Other studios offer multiple instruments, but we are the only one to offer all of the most popular instruments in a high quality, convenient environment. We welcome all beginners and all levels–no matter what your age!
Free, all-inclusive, optional recitals
Every parent wants to know how their child is doing and if they are really progressing. The best way for a parent to understand if their investment in lessons is really worth it, is to have their child participate in a recital. Every June and December, our students have the option of performing in our recitals. Students are not required to perform, but many choose to. Parents never have to pay admission or any related fees for recitals.
Family Safety Plan
We want music lessons to be fulfilling and fun. You should never have to worry about the safety of your child. Because of this, we created a family safety plan with these 8 features:
- Office staff is present during all lessons
- Security cameras are visible in all lesson rooms
- Security monitor is visible for lesson room observation in the waiting area
- We have an open door policy, welcoming parents to sit in on lessons
- Extensive background checks are required for all teachers and staff
- Large lesson rooms for social distancing.
- Live-stream lessons remotely from any device
Month to Month Lessons!
Our desire is to inspire our students with the love of music. We do this through teachers and music that our students love. Unlike other programs, we do not require semester minimums for lessons. You can begin anytime!
