Read the latest update from Director John Dewey:
Hello Academy Families!
I want to give a huge shoutout to all our amazing musicians who took the stage at the recitals at the Okemos Community Church this past Saturday, June 1st! You blew the roof off with your talent (and hopefully not your nerves!).
Also, Congrats to Emma & Carrie, our “Bring Your Mom to Lessons” winners!
Now, dads, it’s your turn!
Bring Your Dad to Lessons Week: June 9th-15th. Prepare for confused stares, laughter (at Dad!), and pure pride.
Calling all future rockstars! Summer’s here, and it’s time to launch your musical skills into overdrive with our Summer Rocket Program!
Sign up for more lessons and blast off with a trophy (treble clef shaped, totally cool) AND a special wristband! Who needs the pool when you can shred on guitar or belt out those high notes?
Contact the front desk for more details.
Also, stay tuned for details about our Kid’s Make Music Weekend starting Saturday, August 17th! It culminates with a showstopping performance of the National Anthem on Sunday, August 18th at Jackson Field – that’s right, our 7th Annual National Anthem Performance!
Can’t wait to rock out with you this summer!
