Read the latest update from Director John Dewey:
Dear Okemos Music Academy Student and Families,
We are thrilled to announce our upcoming Spring Recitals, one of the highlights of our 25-year anniversary, taking place on June 20th and 21st at Okemos Community Church!
This is a fantastic opportunity for our students to showcase their hard work and dedication, and for us to come together as a community to celebrate the joy of music.
Sign-ups are now open at the front desk! We encourage all students to participate.
Admission to the recital is by non-perishable food item or monetary donation to our local food bank. Let’s make a difference in our community while enjoying the beautiful music our students have prepared.
We can’t wait to see you there!
You still have a couple of days to experience Spirit Week, happening from Monday, April 7th to Sunday, April 13th!
Wear something with your school name or logo on it and enter our drawing for a chance to win a musical prize!
Everyone who enters gets a gift bag filled with goodies, and the grand prize winner gets their choice of an Electric Guitar with Amp or a Keyboard with Stand!
Enter the drawing at the front desk. Let’s see your school spirit!
Our recent "Guess the # of Skittles" contest brought some extra sweetness to Okemos Music Academy, and we're excited to announce our lucky winners: Opal and Madeline!
These two talented students both guessed just three candies away from the actual count of 1,050, each estimating 1,053.
This summer, give your child the gift of hands-on learning and creativity with music lessons at Okemos Music Academy. In a world increasingly dominated by screens, music offers a unique opportunity to engage with a skill and craft that will enrich their lives for years to come.
Learning an instrument isn’t just about music; it’s about discipline, focus, and the joy of creating something beautiful!
We’re offering a special incentive for new students: Save $55 when you register for summer lessons between now and June 2nd! However, lesson times are limited, so don’t wait! Spread the word to your friends and family and help us build a vibrant musical community.
Give the gift of music this summer – a gift that will last a lifetime.
Join us for these exciting events! Let’s get ready to celebrate music and community this summer.
