Dear Okemos Music Academy Students and Families,
This month, we are celebrating the passion our students bring to their instruments and the heart they put into every practice session. Whether you are just starting your musical journey or are a seasoned performer, we are here to help your love for the arts grow even deeper.
We want to say a huge CONGRATULATIONS to all of our students who performed in our recent recitals. Seeing the results of your months of hard work and practice come to life on stage was truly moving. Thank you to the families for your unwavering support and for cheering on our talented community.
We are incredibly excited to see our students perform in the Spring Recitals this June!
These performances are always a highlight of our year, and we can’t wait to see how much more everyone will grow between now and then!
This February, we are inviting everyone to give the gift of music lessons. Whether they want to rock out on the drums or play a classical piece on the piano, Okemos Music Academy is the perfect place to start.

From February 2nd through February 15th, 2026, we invite all students to participate in our annual Candy Heart Guessing Game.
- How to Play: Stop by the front desk and take your best guess at the total number of candy hearts in the jar.
- The Prize: The student with the closest guess to the actual total will win the entire jar!
Be sure to submit your guess next time you’re in for a lesson!

Ready to start? You have nothing to lose.
Sign-up is easy and parent-friendly, with helpful staff at the front desk seven days a week to serve you. Because we only offer lessons on a month-to-month basis, there are no large upfront payments, no complicated contracts, no annual material or performance fees, and no semester minimums.
Lessons are first come, first serve, so visit www.LansingMusicLessons.com and select “Register Now”, or contact us today to arrange your first lesson!
Lessons are available seven days a week and are scheduled once a week.
A one-time registration fee of $30 per student (maximum $60 per family) is due only at the time of registration.
