This saves our students time and money, as one family can take multiple instruments on the same day. Other studios offer multiple instruments, but we are the only one to offer all of the most popular instruments in a high quality, convenient environment. We welcome all beginners and all levels–no matter what your age!
2. Family Safety Plan
At Okemos Music Academy our parents never have to worry about the safety of their child and always have the peace of mind that the music lesson experience is going to be very rewarding and a lot of fun!
Therefore, we have created a family safety plan. Our family safety plan includes these 6 features:
- Office Staff is present during all lessons
- Security cameras are visible in all lesson rooms
- Security monitor is visible for lesson room observation in the waiting area
- Observation windows are in all lesson room doors
- We have an open door policy welcoming parents to sit in on lessons
- Extensive background checks are required for all teachers and staff
3. Fully qualified faculty who will teach you the songs you want to learn.
We have over 20 music teachers, all with either University training or professional performance experience. Our music teachers are dedicated to learning about your personal goals and helping you to achieve them. With several music teachers for every instrument, we are confident that we have the right teacher to meet your needs. In addition to their teaching credentials, our teachers have warm personalities, are extremely friendly, and are dedicated to teaching you the style of music you want to learn.

Every parent just wants to know how their child is doing and if they are really progressing. The best way for a parent to understand if their investment in lessons is really worth it, is to have their child participate in a recital.
Every June and December, our students have the option of performing in our recitals. Students are not required to perform, but many choose to. Parents never have to pay admission or any related fees for recitals.

Our rooms are stocked with everything you need for lessons, including amps, full drum kits in the OMA drum zone, keyboards, pianos, and more. We have spent thousands of dollars on our studio for everything you need for music lessons!

We are the only music school in the Greater Lansing area that offers full time professional customer service for their students seven days a week.
Many music studio desks are staffed by the teacher/owner or more commonly an answering machine. We have office team members who are available at the front desk to assist our clients quickly and professionally.

Due to its central location, our school is convenient and draws students from Okemos, East Lansing, Holt, Williamston, Haslett, Mason, Lansing, Leslie, Grand Ledge, Portland, Eaton Rapids, Dewitt, Charlotte, Laingsburg, Dimondale, Dansville and St. John’s. 13. Month to Month Lessons!
Our desire is to inspire our students with the love of music. We do this through teachers and music that our students love. Unlike other programs, we do not require semester minimums for lessons. You can begin anytime! To stop lessons, we just need a 30 day notice.
