Private lessons, matched to the student in front of us
We believe the best way to learn music is one-on-one. Every lesson is tailored to age, experience, personality, and learning style — ages five through adult, beginner through advanced.
Every instrument, one roof
Guitar, piano, drums, voice, violin, viola, cello, ukulele, brass, and woodwinds, all taught in the same Okemos studio.
Truly one-on-one
Private lessons only. Your teacher's full attention goes to your student, every single week.
Every style welcome
Rock, pop, jazz, country, worship, blues, and classical — built around the music your student wants to play.
The Musical Ladder System
Our own method of music education — students earn wristbands, trophies, and certificates as they progress.
Month-to-month, always
No contracts, no annual material fees, no semester minimums. Leave whenever you need to.
Staffed 7 days a week
A real person answers, schedules, and helps — not an answering machine. Lessons run seven days a week too.

Taught by musicians who've actually done it
Our faculty trained at institutions like Berklee College of Music, Michigan State University, the University of Miami, and the University of North Texas, with performance experience across the US, Europe, Asia, and beyond — including performances for three different U.S. presidents.

Instruments we teach
Whatever your student wants to play, odds are we teach it, all under one roof.
The Musical Ladder System
Our own method of music education keeps students motivated between lessons. As they pass musical tests, students earn full-color wristbands, trophies, and certificates — something to show off, and a reason to practice.
When a test is coming up, students practice more, parents notice the progress, and teachers see it pay off. It's a small thing that makes a real difference.

Simple pricing, no surprises
Lessons run seven days a week and are scheduled at the same time weekly, so it becomes a real habit — not a scramble.

What will my student actually learn?
Your teacher asks about your favorite type of music and builds goals around it together with you. Complete beginners are always welcome.
How long does it take to learn an instrument?
There's no set answer, but with regular practice, a basic level of playing is common within a few months.
I have no musical background — can I help my child practice?
Yes. Your teacher can give you simple ways to support practice at home, even without any musical experience of your own.
How are teachers matched to students?
We match you based on age, experience, and the instrument and style you want to learn, usually within a week.
Easy to find, easy to start.
We're right off the highway with plenty of parking, shopping, and restaurants nearby — so pickup and drop-off never feels like a chore.
